By the way, new board!
Hugo has bought a new board.
A 6'4 from Light, really nice ... had already a test drive on it at Guincho a few weeks ago.

So yeah !
We had a few sessions these last few days.
On friday we went back to S. Pedro. It was smaller but nice still. Gusy had to leave earlier exactly when the bigger set were starting. I caught some nice onces, it was really good, but then, the lineup was starting to get really crowded and people were catching the waves really close to the rocks. Also there was some elbowing between a few guys on some waves. Not my cup of tea, and so I decided I had enought already ...
On Saturday Hugo went to Costa really early and got some good waves. I only managed to get there at late afternoon and got almost no waves ... it sucked!
On Sunday Hugo went to Peniche with Sexy and apparently had tons of fun. Hugo tried to wake me up but I didn't hear the phone ... so I stayed at home.
Today, monday, we decided to go to Guincho. Hugo was already there, me and gusy had to go to a meeting before the session. Nuno got there a bit later. It was fun, finally some waves, but it was too soft and it was a pain to catch the waves... even so, we got a few and it was good fun.

Oi Oi !!!!!!
Oh yeah !!!
Today, Thursday, there was some hope that there were some waves around here so we could do a "after-work" session. Around midday it wasn't looking good, but still at the end of the day Hugo and Gusy showed up aroudn y place.
Gusy drove by Carcavelos and Parede and told us that he saw some waves over at S. Pedro. We decided to go over and give it a look. It didn't look that good so we decided to check out Guincho. Guincho was mental, wind and sand all over the place and the waves were really big ... so we decided to go back to S. Pedro and get some waves over there.
So when we got to S. Pedro some set were coming in and they looked good! Like, unbelivable! We went in through the rocks and bang, I droped in on Gusy and caught the longest wave I ever surfed. It was excelent and Gusy wasn't that pissed... and caught a few Himself.
At some point I got caught on the inside and got hit by a few waves on the head. I didn't fancy it that much and therefore decided to get the heck out. It was already around 9pm and it had been well worth it! Gusy came out a few minutes later... it was excelent!

Finally some surf...
There was some shortage of surf for the past few days... Like 3 weeks ago we were surfing almost everyday, but for the past few weeks there was not surf at all. Fortunatly this saturday the sea started catching up.
On Sunday we went to Carcavelos. Really big I must say. I don't do Carcavelos so well under these conditions. Scary stuff was happening allover the place. Gusy was there aswell and he didn't enjoy it either. Nuno was also there.
Monday we decided to go to Caparica and get some surf at Riviera. Apparently the beach we have been calling riviera forever is actually called "praia do banheiro" or something. Anyways, it was pretty good. The waves were quite alright, smallish but nice. Nuno , Hugo and Gusy were also there.
I'll just finish with a few from Saturday photos.
